Employment opportunities
Freelance editors
We welcome applications from freelance editors in
business, finance and economics, computer science,
and all branches of the sciences.
Applicants should have the following qualifications:
- A PhD degree in a scientific discipline or
be working on a PhD dissertation (for business and
management, a Masters degree will suffice)
- A proven track record of writing to publishable
standards
- Previous experience of editing papers for publication
in academic journals is preferred
Applicants should submit the following, by e-mail to
editor@camlang.com:
- a curriculum vitae in .txt format, stating degrees
held and the institution from which they were obtained,
work experience, publications, and details of editing
experience, with particular reference to experience
in bringing to a publishable standard raw, previously
unedited material written by non-native speakers
of English.
- any other information the applicant deems relevant
to the efficient editing of academic papers.
