| Course Objectives |
- To increase confidence in using English
in social situations
- To develop communication skills, particularly
in listening comprehension and speaking
- At the lower levels, to make rapid
progress in the understanding of grammar and
in acquiring vocabulary
- At the intermediate levels, to work on the
clear and effective communication of ideas
- At the advanced level, to develop language
skills through the discussion of topics of
a cross-cultural or international nature
